Bruce Snyder

EVP - Asset Management

Bruce Snyder joined Scout Cold Logistics in 2021 and is Executive Vice President – Asset Management. He oversees all aspects of national asset management, inclusive of portfolio strategic planning and market intelligence activities. He is integrally involved in investment and leasing decisions with direct oversight of major capital improvement projects. In addition, he is involved in acquisition due diligence, and facilitates the onboarding of assets and operations teams into the Scout portfolio.

Bruce was formerly Chief Financial Officer for Unico Properties, a fully integrated private real estate firm offering investment, development, management, and sustainability services in high-growth markets across the United States. He was a member of the Executive Committee and Investment Committee responsible for all financial, risk, and compliance activities and development of strategic initiatives for a company with $5.5 billion of assets under management.

Previously, Bruce served as the Chief Financial Officer for Florida East Coast Industries (FECI) where he was responsible for the financial leadership of FECI’s $3B+ portfolio of companies and oversaw the capitalization of FECI’s significant infrastructure and commercial real estate investments.

Additionally, Bruce has extensive experience overseeing finance and investment organizations for other high-growth companies. He formerly served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Accounting for New York-based real estate and development firm Related Companies. He also held leadership positions with global mining leader Rio Tinto including as Chief Financial Officer of publicly traded Rio Tinto Palabora Mining Company and Chief Financial Officer of Rio Tinto Minerals, overseeing strategic planning, finance, accounting and compliance and business planning for the global minerals mining and production company. His career also included executive positions with the St. Joe Company, CarrAmerica Realty, and Charles E. Smith Cos.

Bruce earned an M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance and Investment and a B.B.A., Accounting from George Washington University.
