SVP – Construction
Aaron Comer joined Scout Cold Logistics in 2022 as a Senior Vice President – Construction & Development. In this capacity, he leads Scout Cold’s construction efforts to deliver all projects on-budget, on-schedule, with an emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction. Aaron manages Scout’s construction team members in the design and construction of new cold warehouse buildings as well as property redevelopment involving cooler, freezer, food processing, and other tenant improvements.
Aaron has over 20 years of experience managing the construction of temperature controlled and food processing environments, with projects comprising more than 15 million square feet. Prior to joining Scout, Aaron served as the Executive Vice President for Griffco Design/Build, a significant design-build general contractor headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. In that role he was overall responsible for company operations including strategic planning, contract negotiation, and construction execution.
Aaron also served as a Vice President at Kajima, and a Project Manager at both Primus Builders and ARCO Design/Build. He has led construction of numerous food production and storage facilities for companies including Kens Foods, Americold, Lineage Logistics, Sysco, Perdue Farms, US Cold and Giant Foods.
Aaron earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Jacksonville State University (Alabama).
